Mitsubishi Colt Oil Change Procedure

Using an oil filter wrench, carefully loosen and remove the old oil filter in a counterclockwise motion. Take a bit of new oil and apply it to the gasket of the new oil filter. Carefully install the new filter, ensuring it is tightened appropriately but not over tightened.

Step 6: Add New Oil

Using a funnel, pour the recommended amount of new engine oil into the oil fill hole located on top of the engine. Refer to your owner's manual or manufacturer's specifications for the correct oil type and capacity.

Step 7: Check Oil Level and Clean Up

After adding the new oil, use the dipstick to confirm that the oil level is at the recommended level. Clean up any spilled oil using a rag or paper towels.
