Oil Level and Quality Check

Regularly checking the oil level and quality of your vehicle is an essential part of proper maintenance. 3. Pop the hood and locate the dipstick

4. Wipe and reinsert the dipstick

Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean with a cloth, and then reinsert it fully into the dipstick tube.

5. Pull out the dipstick again

Pull out the dipstick and observe the oil level. It usually has markings indicating the safe operating range. Ensure the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks.

6. Inspect the oil quality

Examine the color and consistency of the oil on the dipstick. Fresh, clean oil typically appears amber or light brown. If the oil is dark, gritty, or has a burnt smell, it may be time for an oil change.
