How do Iturn on Siri on my iPhone or iPad?

There are four ways you can activate Siri:

• Pressing the 'Home' button (the side button on the iPhone X)
• Saying 'Hey Siri'
• Using a Bluetooth headset
• Using 'Carplay' (if supported by your vehicle)

Pressing the Home or Side Button

1. Press and hold down the “Home” button on your iPhone/iPad to open Siri.
2. You will hear two quick beeps/vibrations to tell you that Siri has woken up and is waiting to do your bidding.
3. Once Siri has opened, ask a question or ask Siri to perform a task such as emailing or texting. Siri will automatically detect when you have stopped speaking, but you can optionally press the microphone icon to show you have finished your question or request.
