Microwave Oven Diagnosis

4. Sparks or Flame

If you witness sparks or flames inside the microwave oven, immediately turn it off and unplug it to prevent any dangerous situations. Sparks or flames can occur due to a variety of reasons, such as accumulated food debris, damaged waveguide cover, or faulty high voltage diode. Clean the inside of the microwave thoroughly, replace the waveguide cover if damaged, and have a technician inspect and repair any faulty components.

5. Strange Noises

Unusual noises emitted by the microwave oven during operation can indicate various issues. If you notice grinding or clunking sounds, it could be due to a faulty motor or worn-out roller guide. Sizzling or crackling noises might indicate a potential problem with the high voltage diode. In any case, it is advisable to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the microwave oven.
