Porsche is a German company with sales worldwide. Last year, Porsche announced that it would manufacture the Cayenne in Bratislava, Slovakia from 2016. This marks the first time the company will produce a vehicle outside Germany. The company is majority-owned by the Porsche family holding company and the government of Lower Saxony holds a 20 blocking stake. Qatar holds a large minority interest as well.
