How do I get Netflix on a Samsung TV?

Required Components
Installing NetFlix on your television requires a wireless internet connection, television with HDMI inputs, HDMI cable and a computer with an HDMI port. All Samsung televisions include HDMI ports. If your computer does not include a HDMI port, you can still purchase a converter cable to connect to the machine's video output. For instance, MacBook laptops would require a DVI to HDMI converter cable to connect with a television.

Setting Up Connections
Insert the HDMI cable into the HDMI 1 port on the bottom of the LCD Samsung TV. Insert the other end of the cable into the HDMI port on your computer. Wiggle both cable ends with your fingers to make sure they sit securely in the ports.

Computer Setup
Turn on your computer. Open a Web browser and navigate to the NetFlix website. Log in to your NetFlix account. Press the Menu button on the Samsung TV remote. Select the Input option and then choose Source List. Choose the HDMI 1 option. Adjust your computer settings to set the TV screen as the computer monitor. Check your computer user guide for more specific instructions on doing this.

Audio Setup
The computer screen appears on the television but you will not hear any audio yet. Click the Start button on your computer and then select Control Panel. Choose Hardware and Sound and then select Manage Audio Devices. Click the Digital Output Device HDMI option. Click the Set Default button and select HDMI. Play audio on your computer and you will hear it through the TV speakers.
